Shuttle from Ladue

If you are planning on riding the Shuttle from the Schnucks at Clayton and Lindbergh, you must notify SLL prior to the event so that we have enough space to include you in the vans.

Dress Code

Guest attire should be casual.

Directions and Parking

Attached you will find written directions to Chandler Hill (these are the same as the ones on the back of your invitation). Please allow time for traffic which usually is heavy on Friday afternoons on westbound I-64 (Highway 40). You are welcome to drop off accompanying guests at Chandler Hill’s front door. Afterwards, volunteers will direct you to the lower parking lot once you arrive at Chandler Hill. A shuttle bus will transport you from the lot back to the front door.

Registration/Table Assignments

Guests are asked to check in at the Registration table after they arrive. We did not issue tickets this year but rather your name will be on a master list at Registration. Each guest has been assigned a table. This information will be given to you when you check in at the Registration table.

50/50 Raffle

SLL residents and staff will be selling raffle tickets throughout the evening that will conclude with a lucky ticket holder being selected who will win one-half of the money collected. The remaining half will be donated to SLL.

A Quilted Memoir

Sarah Trulaske will be autographing copies of her recently published book, A Quilted Memoir. The book is a combination of diary entries, journaling and recollections about the letting go of her very best friend, her husband, Rob Trulaske. Rob died of sarcoma cancer in 2008. In sharing their journey together, she hopes to bring support and enlightenment to the caregivers, the medical community, and the families who lose loved ones to cancer. All proceeds from the book will go to St. Louis Life.

SLL Note Cards

Sets of 8 Note Cards featuring artwork created by SLL residents will be for sale at the event for $15.

Auction Items

Due to the generosity of donors, the items on the auction have been expanded this year. I am attaching a current list of the items for your review.
